Artist Rebecca Salter is the first woman to be President of the Royal Academy of Arts in its 255-year history.
As a young artist, Rebecca chose to continue her postgraduate studies in Japan.
Fall Down 7 Times, Stand Up 8
is based on a Japanese proverb, much admired by Rebecca as a powerful evocation of tenacity.
