Odeon Anglia Square, now Hollywood Cinema, Norwich Norfolk. Anglia Square is a brutalist shopping centre, north of Norwich city centre, designed by Alan Cooke Associates and opened in 1970. It took six years to build and was never completed. Shop-lined pedestrian walkways lead onto the square itself which was open to the elements. Built on a concrete raft, rising above the centre of the square and giving it much of its architectural character is the 800-seat Odeon cinema, also by Alan Cooke Associates, opened 8 July 1971.
