Andy Warhol's Shadow Paintings, Musée d’Art Moderne Paris 2015-16. The monumental series,
Shadows,
was made in 1979. Two abstract photographs of shadows are printed on backgrounds painted with a sponge mop in 17 different colours. The installation is 130 metres long and reflects Warhol's enduring interest in repetition and the occupation of space.
