Gay Liberation Loves You Very Much,
2017, prototype for the series Remember 1967
. Much like Dr. King in the US, Gay Liberationists realised equality was everyone's responsibility, and not just the struggle of those oppressed by inequality. This prototype was intended to express this expansive and inclusive aspect of the early LGBT+ movement. In the end, Firrell judged the prototype too oblique and abandoned it in favour of more direct campaigning language.
